WASHINGTON (SBG) -- Lily, 11, was brought to tears after meeting her favorite athlete Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The young girl presented the star NBA player with artwork she created that was dedicated to him over the past year. The encounter came during a community event where Antetokounmpo signed autographs for fans.
Lily's father, Pete Stauffer, posted the heartwarming interaction on YouTube and said, "my 11 year old daughter had worked on several art projects for a year and half, and kept them in a folder in the hopes to one day deliver to the Greek Freak. He accepted graciously."
When Lily presented Antetokounmpo with the artwork, she looked shocked as the 7-footer came towards her to give her a hug.
"This is amazing. This is amazing. You did all this?" Antetokounmpo asked while also in astonishment.
Afterwards, she began to cry. In an interview with TMJ4, Lily says her and her dad waited in line to meet Antetokounmpo for five hours.
"He gives the best to the fans and he keeps on giving and giving so I wanted to give him something back in return because I want to show him how much I appreciate him," Lily told the TV station.
