Hey- it’s Jon Foss with the CW Twin Cities. The single most exciting sporting event in the country is going to be right here in the Twin Cities this summer. That’s right, the X-Games has it’s new home and it’s at US Bank Stadium.

I had the AMAZING opportunity to talk to Nicole Hause and Alec Majerus, two X Games skaters from right here in Minnesota.

The event kicked off with a press conference featuring some of the top athletes.

Rich Bigge, X Games Director of Sports & Competition, gave us a behind-the-scenes look at the flat track that is going up in the Mall of America parking lot.

And X Games is more than just sports. Ryan McGuinness, X Games Director of Event Development, told us about all of the events surrounding X Games Minneapolis.

And GOOD NEWS! We here at The CW Twin Cities are giving away tickets! Check out this video for details.

From July 13th through the 16th athletes from all around the globe will be competing in moto X, skateboarding, and BMX biking for their chance to be called the best in the world.

And it gets better! In addition to the competitions there will be live music each night including A Day To Remember, Flume, and Atmosphere.

You can get tickets on sale now at XGames.com but The CW Twin Cities is also giving viewers the opportunity to win tickets.
